| had a customer with a stock C5 Z06 down to the mufflers. Strapped on a Vortech S/C and was tuned perfectly to 453 or something whp @ 6.5 psi. A '04 Cobra with the stock Eaton s/c is 12-13 psi @ 4000~. Lots of different things affect power @ given boost level i.e. compression ratio, efficiency of air tract, etc. A C6 Z06 would have left him behind w/ s/c. Stock however... I'd give it to the "100+whp over the vette" ttz, but not by much. Stock C6 Z06 dyno mid 440's on avg. w/ s/c hmm... alot :) Stock C5 Z06 dyno mid 350's on avg. 350whp + s/c's 103whp = same as Base C6. All this and not only consider torque ratings at this point. Stock C6 Z06 or S/C Base C6 would net about the same result, not including driver error, weather conditions, etc. Yes, I benchrace for a living, my apologies.
